I posted this in tech a while ago but I only got like 3 responses...two of which were mine. So my new motor will be ready to pick up this weekend. What kind of HP and TQ do you guys think it will put down, and what numbers will it run at the track. I will be dynoing it before winter so I wanna know what you guys think.

Heres the rundown

Motor:
306 with forged pro-flo wiseco pistons
polished crank, resized rod bolts with ARP hardware.
fully balanced
Stock heads with thermactor bumps removed
Weiand Stealth intake manifold
Holley 650 cfm double pumper with mech secondaries
stock headers (cause they are good to 300hp)
Trickflow stage 1 cam
No smog or AC

Chassis:
85 Mustang hatchback, 5 speed
8.8 rear with 4.10s
Southside Lower control arms
Boxed Upper arms
Welded torque boxes
Subframes
Aluminum driveshaft
UPR offroad X with flowmaster 40s
Fresh T5 and clutch
Ford racing B springs
Lakewood 50/50 rear shocks
Weld draglites, skinnies and Drag radials.

I think that covers almost anything.......Lets here some predictions!:SNSign:

235-240rwhp maybe. Don't get your hopes high for 'big' numbers.

Oh I realize I'm not gonna be putting down big numbers. Not with those heads at least. I plan on doing the heads next year after I same up some money. As of now Im just trying to have a simple combo that will run good at the track.

You mention stock headers good to 300?....not a really good idea, I'd want a set of aftermarket on there.

stock headers are good to 300hp but they aren't good, u will free up some power by getting some equal or shorty headers. That is goign to be my next mod

Well I realize Im gonna need a decent header on there...but I think now its overkill and not really necessary until the car gets aluminum heads.

What about 1/4 mile times. And add a shifter to the mod list too.
