4cyl was a MUST. With gas here at $1.20 a liter for regular, the Mustang and the 3.8 in my van waste plenty of fuel. It's a 5 spd auto.

Looks good. I like the color combo with the chrome grill and rims. The 4 cyl. is a good choice as well. I don't see the end of these high gas prices.

OK The fusion is a nice car... I really liek them a lot, I think ford is finally on the right track with the fusion and five hundred...

just curious why do you dislike the fusion so much.. Ford is selling a TON of them so far.

The funny thing about those is the Mazda 6 it was based off of is made in Michigan, but the Ford is made in Mexico. Its just ironic imo.

Ya. My brother drives a Mazda 6 with a Ford V6 engine and I now drive a Ford with a Mazda 4 cyl engine .

Thanks for all the comments guys. The original plan was to buy a Focus but the wife just didn't want it. I quickly realized if there was no Fusion in the garage there would be NO Fusion in the room either . I bought the Fusion .

They're sharp looking cars.

I'd love it if they offered a manual transmission option with the V6 model. Would be quite a nice "bargain basement BMW"...
