all gt's do have v8's. that emblem it so that the wanna be v6 crowd can try to impress someone with their GT V6 Type R neon lit pos.

Wanna be V6 crowd? Coming from a guy who drives a Saleen Clone?

I think it's more coincidental it's that way. It's meant for the V6 guys to use the 35th honeycomb panel, and since it's only molded to fit the GT emblem, this is the next best thing to use.

It's not like the letters GT are on it, just the outline, which IMO hardly looks like it anyways.

saleens are nothing more than glorified GTs. Whats the difference if steve saleens goons built it vs. someone at a body shop? at least SaleenGT2001 knows the workmanship and quality of his body kit install is a brazillion times better than saleens.

That's not the point I'm trying to make. There are nicely put together V6's as well...although they are quite few and far between. My point is why knock somebody for being a "wannabe" when you're doing essentially the same thing?

I see the same attitude from Cobra and Saleen owners wondering why we waste our time with our GT's making them look like something they're not. In the end, no matter how crappy Steve Saleen's cars are put together, they're still worth more and will hold they're value far better than a clone.

it is just like me putting cobra emblems on my car. at least i have the power to back my car up. fast car > fast looking car. no, i cant outrun everything on the road but i would say i will outrun 99% of the ones out there. and yes a saleen is just a fancy GT with a body kit, so why spend an extra 20K on that kit when i have less than 5K in all my exterior mods? the ONLY differance between my car and a real saleen is the C pillars and plate under the hood. so you tell me who is smarter, the guys who pays 46K for a SC saleen that will put out less than 350 RWHP or the person that builds their own that will, in the next 2 weeks, be at 420RWHP and still has an extra 10K in their pocket. and to be honest with you i think that the V6 mustang is noting but a chick car. it keeps fords sales up which is why the mustang has had such a long run. but i'm really tired of all these little punk kids that throw an import looking body kit on their car, slap some backwards cobra emblems on the fenders and now some GT high output V6 emblems on and go running around town trying to race everything on the street. i just dont understand the point they are tring to prove with their wanna be fast car.
