Has anyone seen the new 427 Cobra Windsor valve covers from Ford Racing?

They had a prototype version at SEMA last year on the Ford display and it looked great, but I haven't heard anything since.

It's a Windsor cover, but styled to look like an FE cover and it says "427 Cobra Ford Racing" on the top.

Has anyone heard anything more about them or when they'll be available???

Looks like they're on back order until October:

The ones I saw say "427 Cobra Ford Racing" not just "427", same idea as that though.

I have those same valve covers from PAW, and the "as cast" finish was a major pain to keep clean. Any dirty finger prints might as well been permanent. I powder coated mine and was very pleased with the results. To keep the polished fins, powder the whole thing and then simply take a finger and gently wipe the powder off anything you don't want it on.

And yes, that's a true 427 cubic inch Windsor engine!

A before and after shot, it made a HUGE difference in the engine bay. Now people really scratch their heads at shows now!

Jackpot!!! I found a photo of the covers I was talking about on another forum!!

The poster who put this up mentions they'll be inexpensive, die casted and best of all, made in America!!!

Can't wait to pick up a pair of them!
