I was looking at these new ford superchargers for the 5.0 and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with them or if you guys think they are a reliable product. any feedback would be great thank you

Link? Im guessing that if its a Ford Racing Product it will be a pretty reliable product. I've alway thought FRP parts are pretty nice.

yeah FRP is pretty reliable but somewhat pricey at times. but i would still rather go for a nice kenne bell or vortech. You can never go wrong with superchargers from manufacturers that specify in that.

The only supercharger I have seen Ford Racing marketing as their own is the Powerdyne? As an aside, I have never heard anything positive about the Powerdyne products (internal kevlar belts breaking, poor customer support etc. etc.). Is their a new supercharger that FRRP is marketing as their own? This thread is really lame, without a link...

no its centrifugal and the 6 psi gives you about 54 on a stock block
i would get a vortech except for the price and i thought it would be reliable too. thanks for the feedback.

I also have a stock block except for long tubes, TB, 3.90s,no cats. so should i go with 6 or 9 psi I dont want to wreck anything to soon. and I know I will need a regulator, chip and injectors
