Alright I have three. This is my second FOX and I have some new questions.

First- on the molding that runs the length of the car what is under that colored tape. Is it painted? Th stang I got is pure white with that silly red stripe on the molding. Can I just peel it off or do I need to have it painted the color of the car?

Second- Does anyone have any pictures of a FOX with a 18" 2000 Cobra R rims or at least a FOX photoshopped with 18" 2000 Cobra R's? I have the 17" '95 Cobra R's now and I thought I would try something different.

Third - My car needs to be shipped to Central NY from Ft Meyers, FLA. Has anyone used a auto transport that they would recommend?

Thanks in advance, that should do it for now at least until the car gets to me.

Thanks :SNSign:

1.) The 'silly' red stripe is just 3M tape... you can try to peel it off, but I can not say that I have ever tried it before so I don't know what kind of results you will get

2.) I don't

3.) Nope...

I do like the stripes on yours srothfuss. On the white the red stripes looks cheesy IMO.

I'm sure the stripe will come off easily, you might have to heat it up with a hair dryer or something like that to loosen the adhesive.

I have peeled the stripe off before, can't say I have ever liked that look. Allways been painted underneath. On older cars I have found that the tape can get brittle and it becomes quite a challenge because it comes off in a million little pieces rather that just peeling off in a strip. You will end up with some sticky residue that you will need to remove with some kind of adhesive remover or goo-gone or whatever.

Thanks I will give it a try with the hairdryer. I will hope for the method without the whole million little pieces part.
