I have been interested in cars for the majority of my life. I finally now have the ability to act on it. I have been doing very minor work on cars since I was 12 or 13. Now I'm 20 and just recently bought my first Mustang.
I purchased a 1988 LX Mustang Hatchback with the 5.0 of course. It has a new 2004 Ford Racing Orange paint job, at least that's what the guy told me the paint was called. It has A/C Delete, shorty headers, Flowmaster exhaust, and a MARCH pulley system.
My next steps are first to get the steering rack replaced, since I bought it knowing it needed one. Then fix/upgrade the suspension. The suspension job will most likely include springs and control arms. After those major issues, the next steps involve making it my own. The car is in good shape, it just needs some love and buttoning up.
Any suggestions, please let me know. Especially with regards to the suspension.
