Actually only happened once, but here's the deal. Today I am cuising along at 20 miles and hour when I downshift my 04GT auto into second gear...it drops down fine, and I put her back into "D". Thing is the car does not continue to shift into OD from there and acutally holds itself in D. It will not go into OD until while rolling I put her into Neutral and then back into D. After that the issue does not come up again..runs fine finding every gear. Any Ideas why manually shifting the car from D to second, then back to D would then prevent me from going into OD??
just got back in from driving her all day and manually shifting it. the only manual downshifting i do is put it into 2 at 30mph, or press the OD button.
