New GT Questions.

For the illustrious GT-R owner, if this isn't a joke, you can take a look at SilverMustangs.com which is a great forum for...well, silver Mustangs.

GT-R badge. Awful lol.

I'm surprised how tolerant everyone is here.

Nice car. Yank the GT-R emblem though.

It is a GT premium model though. Bullitt wheels, ABS/Traction Control, Mach 1000. Engine looks bone stock.

Does it have the silver aluminum pedals and center console? If so, that's the interior upgrade package.

Hey guys,
Just saw this post and thought I would throw this out there.

I attended the Dale Jarrett Ford Show in Sep of last year and there was a black 08 model GT there. It had GT-R badges on it.
The guy was telling people about it and seemed really knowledgable. I overheard him say that this car was extremely rare and cost him $115,000

I took a couple pics and walked off. He did have a book set up on the engine bay to detail about this car. Gimme your thoughts on this...

Here are the pics...

edit* After thinking back really hard, I can almost remember the guy saying that it was the only one in existance (concept car) Said it had a 5.0 engine in it.

2003 Mustang GT-R

The GT-R was a 2004 Concept Car and was never produced in production. The "R" stands for racing and the concept car was a single seater GT that was truly made for the track ONLY.

I work in the industry and I've never heard of this. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist, just that I've never heard of it.

Concept cars and prototypes are usually not sellable since they don't have a VIN number since they are not certified.

Granted, without seeing the car, its tough to blindly say the guy was most likely full of it.

yup yup.

ill prob keep the gtr badge on it and go to the v8 mustang meet next week and see how much **** i get. then ill decided if i care enough to take it off lol.
