New guy lookin for opinions on 5.0s

i have a vert that i wuz lucky to find in awsome shape, and i like the fox verts. but the parts are hard to find....i need the seals and weather striping to. but i say go w/ a fox, i never liked the sn95s. And whats up w/ all this winter stuff....in january it'll be 40-60f here.....we dont have to garage cars.

I would put my money on a fox. The 94-98 style IMO are just a modern version of the 74-78 series. The reason chics like the 94-98's better is because they are a girls car. They look the same as any car of the era and any girl looks right at home in one. They do have 5 lugs which is an advantage over the fox, but for a little extra you can have 5 lugs and alot better brakes on a fox.

I like both cars, the sn looks nicer and the chicks would like it more, but the fox is pretty badass too. basically, the fox would cost less initially, but its an older car and will probably need more work than a 94-95. I was kinda leaning towards the fox

K take it from me, I am a junior in HS, I HAVE NO problems having chicks LOVE my car. Take for instance today, and I swear to you it happened I was just sitting at my lunch table and some random hot chick came up and told me I had an awesome car.
The rumble of a v8 combined with the topdown effect is a major aphrodisiac!

The fox, say you get a 91-93 vert, is only 1 or 3 years older than the 94-95, so thats not MUCH older. I say you find a cleanish fox vert, add some exhaust and gears and it is eough for a while, now I plan on having my car supercharged before christmas! Trust me, you can't go wrong with a fox vert!!!

Hey all, just an update. I think im gonna go for the sn95, a clean, cheap sn95 vert is alot easier to find where I am, all the fox verts around here (same quality) cost the same or considerably more than the sn95, and with the sn you start with a newer car with a nicer platform and more refinements. What do you all think, im not putting down foxs at all, hell if they were cheaper to get here than an sn they would be my choice, but it just seems to make more sense to go with the sn. Thanks for all the imput

Foxes are cheap to mod, thats why everyone likes them. Foxes are nice cars in general, and can be made to include nicer comforts such as SN95 seat swaps, which i will be doing, they bolt right in. Nice ones are a very rare find on the road today.

seriously though , if you have ever seen droptop's vert you wouldnt buy a sn-95 hopefully droptop wont mind me posting this pic, my personal favorite vert
