New to this site. I must come right out and say that I'm an 18 year old kid but I'm not living off my parents. I worked extremely hard for the cars I have so please don't try to say that I need to stop asking my parents for money. I've owned five cars which I'm sorry to say have been "ricers". I previously owned two Honda Civics, one Acura Integra, one Dodge Neon SRT 4 and now my beautiful 2003 Mustang GT. That's a little about me, now I hope you guys and girls enjoy my car. I'm here to learn, not to bust other people's balls.

Now for the help I need. I'm going to post a picture of a grey mustang below. The guy said that the rims on the car were American Racing Rebel wheels an when I searched those wheels they did not look the same at all. If someone could look at the rims and tell me the setup he has going on I'd appreciate that.

I like them but they really aren't my style. I even bought a set of bullet wheels or whatever you call them for back ups and I don't like those either. I'm the type of guy who always wants a different look on his car. Aha

Neither set are different. So it comes down to what looks better AND is easier to keep clean. That would be the FR500s.

As to your question a close up pic would help a lot.

Welcome. Nothing wrong with those cars, especially if you paid for and wrenched on them yourself.

FWIW, I like the rims on your car now more than the ones in the first pic.

Another quick question. I'm looking into some performance mods as well and I would like to know what mods would really give me the most bang for my buck so to speak. I was told 4.10 gears and a Bama tuner but I feel like I would be unsatisfied. My car is basically stock besides mangnaflow exhaust and a B&M short shifter.

For these cars usually its the other mods you do that you would feel unsatisfied with actually. Gears, short throw shifter, subframe connectors are the best mods besides forced induction IMO you could do to a 2V GT.

Your car has FR500 wheels and, quite frankly, looks absolutely gorgeous!

Gears are, by far, the best bang-for-the-buck mod on these motors. The PI 4.6 2V motors make their power up top and nothing gets them into that powerband like gears. Go 4.10's or nothing...but make sure you've got some good tires or you'll be doing a lot of spinning. After gears, have some full-length subframe connectors welded in (Maximum Motorsports) and some lowering springs installed and the car will feel like its riding on rails.

Not all 4-cylinder cars are slow.

Cant help you with the wheels. Hands down if you want to make the 2v faster go boost! When you get bored of that build the motor and have some real fun! If I can give some advice to a young guy like your self. It would be to save your money and stop buying cars! Save for a house or houses!!! I am 29 and I have spent over 100k on cars and mods and now that I look back I should of made a better investment lol.
