I have a 97 gt and about to buy fr500s off American muscle, I'm going to get the 17s and 10.5s in the rear. I was wanting to know if 315/35/17s will fit on my car with no problems? Anybody done it?
I had 275/40/17's on my old 96. Got a little bit of sidewall flex due to the 9 inch wheels and the bulge. With 10.5's you shouldn't have any flex but if the car is lowered you may wind up with some fender rash on the tire. Might need the fenders rolled a bit if it is lowered.
I have 17x10.5 on my 98 convert and I just took off the quad shocks, but I also have after market upper/lower control arms. Lowered on H&R Springs without issue.
