Image Updates, as promised

OK, here are the side shots that 1105 asked for. I took two shots', 'cause I had a fence behind me keeping me from backing up any farther.

I thought I'd show you all a closeup of one of the Cobra rims, with the "glowing" lugnuts:

<img src="http://www.firstlight.net/~chythar/stangnet/wheel_w_red_lugnuts.jpg" width="640" height="480">

I took my lug nuts and painted them with a Candy Red acryllic paint. It let the chrome shine through, but gave it a red tint. Add a little light, and voila! Glowing lug nuts!

I was originally thinking of a black and purple paint job, so the calipers are purple. If I could do it over again, I'd do them up in red.

Now, for the close-up of the headlights. This is one side; the other is the same.

There are a few smudges, but those aren't on the lights themselves. I installed a protective sheet of plastic onto the lenses, and it takes a few weeks for any imperfections to evaporate out.

You say you found a better deal... is it information you can share? :shrug:

Well, it was only about a $20 difference, so I guess it's not much of a better deal. I bought from a different eBay seller, and he's not listing right now. $179 was the best deal I could find. :(

Wow...and I thought this thread was SO dead. And for the record, MY c-stripe is on the right way! :D

Gotta post more often...I'm falling behind on my post count! WhiteStallionGT, did you get your post count restored after the crash, or have you been posting that often?

The louvers are from Visus - http://www.visuslouvers.com/. There are a few sites that sell them, but the best deal I could get was from High Horse Performance, @ $349. Depending on where yu are, shipping could bring the cost to ~$380. Here's a link to there store:

I love the retro look to 'em, and I know of only one other 'stang in my area that has them.
