My lights are fading badly and I want to get some new lights in the spring but most places like americanmuscle only sell the smoked clear corner ones http://www.americanmuscle.com/sm99hewiclco.html Do you guys think those look ok? Also how hard is it to take the fog lights out (ones burnt out)? I want to run my car with out them for a while.

At least it's more erect and not floppy anymore.

the clear corners will look great! there are three screws that hold the foglight to the bumper, if you jack the front up and lay on your back you can see two on the housing, the other is on the bottom off the bumper, on the paint.

it was easier for me just to take off the whole bumper.

one screw in each fenderwell on the bottom. then two push pins on the underside of the bumper in the middle. and finally two 7/16 nuts on each side of the bumper. you need an open end wrench for one on each side because the ratchet wont fit.

if you have a service manual youll see its real simple. 15 minutes max.

to just replace the bulb turn it counter clockwise and pull straight out of the back.

I will probably go with the clear corners. I just didn't want anything that looked like rice.

i know what youre sayin, i really didnt like them at first myself..but i love them now. id use amber turn signal bulbs though. (obviously)

let me know if you need any pics of the location of fasteners for the bumper. id be happy to take them. i swear this is the easiest bumper to take off.

the only bolts are on the inside right here. same on both sides. 7/16th

this is right behind the foglight, you can pull the wheel well cover back to get to it.
the nut furthest back will neeed an open end wrench on both sides. because of clearance.

the passenger side is easier, all you need to do is remove the airbox. its one 8mm bolt right in the middle above it.

next there is a push pin on both sides of the radiator, it comes straight out.

the last are just the two pins on the top of the bumper

now just pull it off, youre done! youll see how to take out the foglight assemblys.
if you dont get new assemblys with the lights they just pry out.
