Hey, All I just picked up a new 04 Mustang Premium GT today. I got it in Competition Orange with a 5-spd I just got a question on it. I noticed today when I close my door after driving, I would get this sizzleing noise, I fould out that water for the A/C is coming out of a hole on the fire wall and dripping right on the exhaust Is this normal? Is there suppose to be a elbow there to drain the water away from the exhaust? Thanks, Jason

Completely normal and nothing to worry about. My F-150 FX-4 does it too. Welcome aboard and Enjoy the new Stang. Happy modding!

Thanks, For the info. On the modding I'm not planning on doing to much with it. I'm sure I'll end up with and exhaust system and a CAI for it but thats about it, My main car I've modded is my 89 Turbo Trans Am. Thanks, Jason

A-freakin'-men! I told myself I'll keep mine stock until I'm out of the warranty. Two months after driving it off the dealer's lot, I have a $200 CAI and a $380 cat-back already, and I'll be pricing out X or H pipes soon.

Love the color! All I've done are some appearance mods (I recommend the Grille Delete from MustangTuning.com), but the more I come here, the bigger the urge to do some substantial mods. I doubt you'll be able to keep your hands off for long. In the meantime, enjoy!

congrats on the new GT, just got mine about a month ago and already have a shifter and cat-back on it. Good luck with the non-modding attitude.

Well, I'm pretty sure I'm not going to get to involed in the mods on it just the basics Alot of my time and money is into my my Turbo T/A That's the car I plan on running at the track. I'm expecting it to run mid 7's in the 1/8 mile. As soon as I get it back from the paint shop I'm gonna find out. Thanks for the nice welcome. Jason

jas04GT - congrats on your new stang!

As others mentioned, the drip is normal. However, there is of course the drip-delete kit mod which will cause a sheeting action - frictional delay by hydronautatingization the extra water from the drippage. And it's only $149

Enjoy!

I couldn't decide between a Sonic Blue GT and a Competition Orange Mach 1, if the Mach 1 could use regular unleaded and I could've gotten the Mach1000 system, I would have gotten it.

Congrats on the new car, mine doesn't have a drip though And the mods will come, there's no doubt about that. I've had mine just about a month and my list of mods to be ordered is already

Steeda Cat-back
Steeda Tri-ax
Steeda full length sub frames
Sequential tail lights
grill delete

Congrats. The drip is normal. The way to take care of it is to do what I do and never use the A/C. Just roll with the windows down and listen to her pur.
