So the original poster had 6000K right?? Is there really a big difference between 6000K and 8000K? And just out of curiosity, why are some kits like $300 and ive seen some for like $100?? Is their quality not as good?

Looks good...I think Im gonna stay with my stock fogs for now...Most cars with HID's from the factory seem to still have halogen fogs, at least from what Ive noticed...

That's true for all cars. Most only use HID light for low beams. Some use it for the high beam with a bi-xenon projector, but some use a halogen bulb for high beams and ALL use halogen for fog lights.

reason??

beleive it or not, halogen light is better for poor weather conditions. The HID light is too intense and reflects off fog or in other poor conditions.

Then again, our factory fog lights don't do jack. I can't tell if they are on of off

nice, you dont happen to remember what size that nut was do you?

The nut happened to be the same size used to hold down the stock battery terminal connections, so I just took it to the hardware store and had them grab me two of the same size.

I must say that Mustangs have some of the poorest halogen factory lighting out there... Like said earlier... our foglights are pretty much worthless.

The biggest improvement you can make is to convert your halogen fogs to HID along with your headlights. You'll see a world of different with HID fogs in our cars.

man i want to get HIDs pretty bad but they are illegal if your car did not come with them from the factory. And with my nitrous hooked up all the time i dont think its good to have other illegal parts on the car lol you are just asking for a search to be done looking for other illegal parts.lol

My car is legal and I still wouldn't want them on there just because it would draw to much attention to my cobra. I have a lot on people just looking at my car alreay.

But none the least I really do like your HID's. Hella bright

yeah thats what ill have to do. i ordered a kit for the fogs last night and was wondering if you had a picture of where you mounted the ballasts for them. also, did you have to make a harness yourself with a relay for them?
