new intake gave slower results?

hey guys i have a issue i would like to get figured out. i have a 1992 lx 5.0 that i have been slowly putting new parts into over the past few months... reciently i put a trick flow street burner upper and lower intake on and it maid my car noticeably slower. i use to be able to chirp third now im barley chripin second... im having alotta people tellin me two storys the first being i have a vacume leak and second that i need to upgrade my fuel system... please let me know what you think it could be.

its not that you have an air leak bro. the problem is that you put this intake on without doing the heads first. The intake and tb you installed is gonna make you lose low end torque BIG time without doing the heads. your best bet is to put your stock stuff back on and save for the heads and then slap that stuff on there.

Agree. The TFS intake has probably caused a big loss of low rev torque and it's really not a good idea to use it with bone stock heads.

Use the explorer, gt40, cobra manifold for better results.
