I don't have a picture of the underside that shows everything. Here's a pic that I guess proves its all there but doesn't give much of a view.

Oh the tailpipes --I've had a Bassani catback on the car for years. The routing of those tailpipes doesn't clear the MM panhard bar. After a few years I decided the tailpipes had to go back on. If you or anyone is thinking of the panhard bar, consier this ahead of time--the pipes can't snake around the panhard bar bracket (that actually attaches to the frame, not the rod), so you either have to remove the bracket, put on pipes, then put the bracket back on or cut the pipes and the sections of pipe back together. Unfortunately for me, the shop tacked the bracket on so I have to do the latter and cut the pipes. I used stainless 2.5" flowmaster pipes and they fit fine on the Bassani mufflers. I have them held together with brackets now but will get them welded probably in the spring or summer.

Next on the agenda will be paint I think. I attached a picture before of the car right after I got it painted a few years back but also mentioned that the clearcoat on the hood and roof had failed recently. From that angle it would look the same I guess, but the hood is really pealing badly. If the integrity of the paint was bad enough to fail, I don't think I want to gamble and just repaint the bad parts as its probably only a matter of time before the rest goes. Better to just do it all and have it match in both color and quality.

I have alot of other parts waiting to go in but haven't gotten around to it. The biggest being a 93 Cobra intake. Once the paint and some other things are figured out I'll explore head and cam options and throw that together.

I coudn't take it anymore. I ran it without tailpipes for like 4 years until a few weeks ago when I put the tailpipes back on. I didn't have the dumps--just left the open mufflers--but found it to be way too loud. Some people complain about exhaust fumes when you don't have the "dumps" on, but I didn't find that to be an issue. I don't really sit in traffic in my car, mostly just cruises on back roads. I thought the sound was a little too much for what I want and the car wasn't quite finished without the tailpipes (I never intented to run without them, just happened because of my panhard bar).

Any reason you can't just bolt on a set of pipes? They don't need to be welded on at the muffler end and are fairly straightforward to install if you don't have the panhard bar.

I see--so we have exactly the same issue. Haha. I got quoted like $800 by a shop to make custom pipes and walked away from that option. I think what I did will work fine. Just wish I realized before putting the suspension on.

I see you went with coilovers. Looks like you have tubular A-Arms up front so I assume you have coilovers there as well. I stopped myself and kept the standard setup after heard some grumblings that coilovers on street cars (I'm in pothole heaven in the northeast) could beat up the strut towers. I guess it makes sense, but wondering what your experience is with that. Honestly that's what kept me from doing the K-Member.

I'm with you on MM. All of my suspension parts are from MM and the ones I've installed myself went in like a charm. You can actually see the difference in the quality of the manufacturing, and the writeups of each part on their website shows just how well and carefully they were designed. You can't go wrong when you go for product over price.
