Actually I used to be on here YEARS ago with a different name when I had a 96 GT. Since then I've had many Probe GTs, an RX-7, a DSM and I just lost my 2005 Mazda RX-8 in an accident so I decided to get another Mustang. I now have a 2004 GT. So far I'm love having another Mustang. The RX-8 spoiled me inthe corners though, that thing handled like nothing else so I'm in the process of upgrading the suspension and brakes to try and get it as close to the 8 as possible as far as handling.

Pics! (Not that you guys havn't seen one before)

I have a mach1 spoiler on the way along with Eibach springs, sways.

Welcome back. Nice car. Get some shocks and install them with your springs. KYB AGX are great and cheap.

Then get gears. 3.73 or 4.10.

Then if you like handling, get wheels and tires.

Howdy.....very nice lookin stang!

If you want handling, go with Maximum Motorsports, Bilsteins and HR springs, nothing less.

And I must ask also, how was the RX-8....I've been looking at them too....intrigued by the exotic styling with the backseat for the future babies.

And what the heck is that on your e-brake handle.....is that doo-doo? Don't tell me you were having a freaky deaky moment with the other and got the wrong stiffy in the wrong hole?

The RX-8 was hand down the absolute best car I have ever driven. It is definitly a drivers car. In a straight line it does not feel that fast, but it accelerates quickly. Get the car on a road course or back roads and it's some of the most fun you can have. The interior is beautiful and I love the looks of it. Definitly pick one up if you can.

The main reason I didn't get another is because I decided to save some money for a downpayment on a house. The Mustang is about $8000 cheaper than the RX-8 I had. But the Mustang is filling the void VERY nicely.

Everytime I drive the car I remember why I got it. I still miss the 8, but the Mustang is fun too. I remember the two cars have two totoally different purposes and it's fun to now have 300 pound of torque VS. 146 although the 9000rpm redline IS a blast.

That makes two of us. I was here many years ago myself. I didn't remember my old username, and it is probably no good anymore. I decided to get another GT because they are so cheap now. Last time I had a Mustang I learned that plastic intakes don't take well to nitorus; and was also soured by paying $26,000 for a new 2003 GT. The new ones cost that much still. That '03 GT is gone, but I wanted another one day. I bought a nice untouched '02 GT with 30,000 miles on it for $13,000. (also with original bald GY Eagles) Now I have two cars, and can afford to do things right on this GT. I don't have any plans except for some tires though. Sometimes it is better to wait when you can comfortably afford performance cars.

Welcome. I'm fairly new too. What kind of DSM did you have? I had LOTS of DSM's and recently switched to a Mustang GT.

My dad lives right near New Cumberland.....lives in Harrisburg, contracts with the base there. Ever see a blue Boxster or red Porsche 944 driving around....that'd be him. He's working on building an ol' fox body road racer for the track too.

There are plenty of suspension options so do your research
