Hey guys, just checking in. my dad just bought a 65 a month or so ago. Base model, no ac, ps or pb. 200 6cyl. very little rust though and runs perfect. so far we have got the brakes up to par, replaced the dash pad and installed a pertronix ignitor/coil. since getting the car, i started snooping through my father in laws old garage that he hasn`t been in in over 20 years. so far I have found a 289hp engine from a gt350, a 71 boss 302 service block (looks like it just got back from the machine shop), a boss 351 block, a set of 4v heads, a box full of 4 barrel holleys. a crank for something still in the box. anyways, i can`t to see what i can cobble together for the 65. been getting alot of info off this site already to help me id all this stuff. sorry, didn`t mean to ramble. thanks for the help so far guys.
