New mods comming..pics added of my Notch!

Well I decided to drop the cash and finish what I started. This week the track opens and it's free so I can't wait to see what the car will run. I will be running it with very basic stuff listed in my sig nothing to really add power and make the car run fatser on street tires. My times won't be anything great because I really have to granny shift into 2nd because if I don't it grinds pretty bad...shooting for low to mid 14's as it sits.

I just ordered some coated shorty headers, a o/r h-pipe, and my a/c does not work so I ordered a delete kit from summit..

I can't waite to add my new parts and start wrenching on the car. It sounds a lot better with the mac cb but it needs to be louder and I think the catless h will be a nice improvement over the factory unit..

Anything anyone wants to add that has done these things to their cars are welcome....

1. Email them to yourself
2. Save them onto your computer.
3. http://www.photobucket.com (Register)
4. Upload the images to photobucket, use "edit" to resize them, then copy the IMG CODE, place image code in post and ta-da. You have photo's of whatever chit you want on the forum. And by whatever you want, I mean pictures of said car or a woman would be nice to see too.

My new 6G..just need to do the up the wiring, In this pic I have it just as a test to make sure I had it right... Took about 30 min. and I had to use a longer bolt, with a nut. It just bumps into the bracket but it did not affect it because it still bolted right up...

if u don't have emissions, which i'm assuming bc you're going with an OR hpipe, ditch your smog stuff at the same time, it'll be easier and you won't have to buy another belt. just dead weight and cleans up the engine bay at the same time. jmo.

I live in northern Il. but union grove is just north in Wi. about 20 min. from me..I don't have to take my car for testing because of a new law passed. When I ordered the a/c delete I was looking at the smog kits but they seemed high priced for not really doing anything...

I'm thinking I can take off the a/c condenser and smog pump, move my tensioner to where the a/c condenser was so the belt doesn't rub at the water pump.

u dont need a kit to ditch the smog. just take it off and run a shorter belt with a different route if you have a/c delete. thats what i did. pretty easy

Will that work? Than it can be done for pretty much free? I never thought about moving the tensioner but how would you mount it?

edit I see sorf of now, but what about the plate for the egr spacer, and the openings?

hmmmmm.... are u just ignoring what i said? i dont know why u are all talking about relocating all this stuff, and i really dont see what the egr spacer has to do with anything here.... u realize its far away from the belt right? like between the tb and upper intake manifold? u said you have an ac delete kit, so install it, take off your smog and run the belt! its that easy. no need to relocate the tensioner!, or egr lol!

No I understand what you said and I will do that. Thanks for the free mod man!! I posted the last one before I read yours...

I fully understand I was just asking about the egr. I know where it's located but I thought that it worked in junction with the smog...I thought that if I took the smog pump off I would have to cap off the 2 egr valves on the both sides of the spacer...or somthing else.

But its raining today so no track times...I can't go wed because I'm at school from about 9:30am-9pm.....maybe thursday
