New motor and twin screw?

But i want to go non intercooled on the kenne bell. It makes no sense to me to spend that sort of coin on a fully built, 600HP-capable shortblock and then chintz out on the blower. At the very least, get the intercooled KB kit and put a 6-psi pulley on it.

I absolutely, positively guarantee you that 6psi will not seem like enough a month after you start driving it. You'll want more and with the non-intercooled KB kit, your options will be limited. With the intercooled and that shortblock you can upgrade to, say, a 14psi pulley and run that. You might need to upgrade the MAF and some fuel system components too but at least you'll have an intercooled system that can handle the upgrade. Your options will be limited with the non-intercooled kit.

If your heart is set on the 6psi, non-intercooled kit, save your money on the MMR shortblock and either use your stock engine or, if it needs replacing, source a wrecking yard stock replacement. There's no need for a forged bottom end at 6psi with a safe tune.

Trinity is spot on here. That short block is overkill and a total waste of money if you only want 6psi. Spend a grand on a junk yard motor and buy the blower.. That will make it fast enough for what you want.

But if you set on the shortblock.... then buy it.... Get the kb with the i/c. Don't forget, with power comes supporting mods. (Suspension, fuel, trans, tires..)
