i won a new motor on ebay its out of an 03 grand marquise (cant spell) is it the same motor heads cams ect as whats in a 02 gt i know the intake will be diffrent

um i don't think so. if i'm not mistaken that engine is a four-valve which i think is rathed at like 290 fwhp. double check with someone else.

na, 97gtconv is wrong. That engine, depending on what it is, is an SOHC rated at either 224 or 239. I'm guessing the weaker version doesn't have PI heads, among other differences. I don't know what the differences are, but I doubt if it is identical except for the intake or heads, regardless. But it'd probably still work fine, either way.

it's a 2 valve pi motor. but the cam specs are different.
