Are these the stock temp ones. Are they making the 1 step colder plug in a 1 piece as well now?

Are you sure it's one piece? Doesn't look like it in the pic.

I'd really like to believe that those are one-piece plugs but I wouldn't bet on it. I see a definite seam line where the shield connects to the body. Those are most likely two-piece

Your originals look nice and clean, how many miles did you have on them? Did they give you any trouble coming out?

Plugs

Wow, those two plugs both look like two piece designs to me.

Champion offers a one piece now.

still expensive at $19/piece, especially copared to $6.45, but they are probably coming down in price and they look to be great plugs.

Pardon my ignorance, but what are the disadvantages of the 2-piece plug?

And how long should the stock plugs last?

the bottom piece may seperate and get stuck in the head.

80 to 100k miles. But you may want to take them out every 10 to 15k miles so they bond build up too much carbon & get stuck.

too scared to take mine out at 55k, so i'll just get performance heads when the time comes.

just hit 50000 miles.i pull them out every 20000 and clean off the smooth area and the tip.i also have 2 sets of the ht1's that i use.i pull them when the motor is warm and don't force them.champions don't work for crap in any ford i have ever had.this is my 5th mustang and i've had many other fords thru the years.
