Hey everyone,

A few buddies and myself are currently in the process of forming a new Mustang/Ford car club. The name of which has yet to be finalized, but we are currently using the working title of "Tri-State Mustangs and Fords" with the Tri-State region being New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. We have a bunch of guys who want to get involved already, and we want to get bigger.

I would like to ask that anyone who wants to be a part of this club (this includes everyone who has already spoken with me and is included on the website) to come to our meeting at Rockaway Townsquare Mall on Saturday, July 30 at 5:00PM. We will discuss things like when our regular meetings will be held, future meets, events and cruises, and of course the club name.

Also, a few guys have mentioned that they have friends with F-Bodies who want to join a club but havent found anything yet. I want to get everyones opinion on if it should be Mustangs and Fords ONLY, or something open to all late model "muscle" cars.

I'll be sending out an e-mail to those of you whose addresses I have, and I am always available to be contacted on AOL Instant Messenger, screenname "snakebitten97" or my cell phone, 862.268.5280. I will also be checking this thread often.

Thanks,
Bill

PS: Yes I am aware that there is CJMF and ECS. Problem is that I live damn far from 99.9% of any events or meets that they put on, which makes it difficult for me. This is also true for many of the guys who are interested in the new club. I have also found that some members of larger clubs seem to feel that if an event is put on by anyone other than a big, well established club, that its not worth going to, and we should "just join (insert club name here)." So I have decided to get together with some guys in the same boat as me and put something together that keeps things a little closer to home. Thanks anyway guys.

sounds good to me bill, ill be there. as far as the f-bodies go, i think we should keep it a ford deal. less of a chance of any type of conflict between members, plus i thought a good name for the club could be Flatliners...lol. those heartbeat boys might not like that name.

you get my info up on the site yet?

good deal matt...i kinda wanna keep it all ford too, considering that (at least at the moment) the club would consist of like 474563854 mustangs and 3 camaros and 2 firebirds. doesnt exactly scream diversity and equality to american muscle.

your info is going up on the site as i type this...its gonna be nice to have one of the nicest stangs in this entire area in our club :nice:

EDIT: just finished it, still gonna mess around with colors and backgrounds, etc. but heres your basic page Clicky Clicky

I'll be there too Bill. The club should also remain a ford thing, considering the first meet/cruise was all stangs and one Mercury Capri (Black with stang pony rims) Sneaky, sneaky looks just like a fox body :D and the sites adress is nj stangs.

EDIT: (upon viewing site) WOOT!!! V6 REPRESENT!!! ONLY V6 IN THE CLUB!!! :rlaugh:

The site is looking pretty killer. You've definitely have been investing some time into it. Once the club gets big, you could collect annual dues and get a .com domain and make everything "super official." That would be pretty sick if you ask me. Oh yea, f the f bodies. They can start their own club :)

scott you're mean lol. at least andy HAS a stang haha its more car than i have. i drive a 4 cyl camry b/c my "stang" has 4 legs, eats grass, and sucks up all my money! (see sig)

and isnt a v6 stang better than an f-body or even worse....rice?! :notnice:

Umm.. since when is that sometihng to be proud of? :rlaugh: :jester:

B/C it's better than the cars I was looking at before I bought the 6.

Dodge Dakotas, Stealths (we had one and there is a story behind it but that's for another time.), old Daytonas

Plymouth/Chrysler Lasers, Dusters

Rice: 3000GT, Supra, 180SX, Miata, etc...

uuhh, hey pal, 3000GT's and Supra's are not rice btw, show me any V6 mustang that can beat a Supra or a Twin Turbo 3000 GT. Oh yea I think I'd rather have a 2002 SS or WS6 TA over a V6 stang. just my opinion.

we dont need tension dudes...not a good starting point

Thanks Bill. :D

He also speaks the truth (red highlight). We don't need to kill the club while it's still being developed. :nonono:

after our last meet which didnt work out so well, i think we need a lil bit more organized meets, and more of em.....

And last but not least of all, I need to be a smart @$$ with the following picture :rlaugh:

Sorry for the horribleness of the picture but our digital camera takes pics like this and we don't know why.
