Just got my first Mustang -- 2003 GT convertible. It came with SLP cat-back and loudmouth "mufflers." I want to tone it down with a pair of Thrush Turbos -- same length within a quarter of an inch. Except one inlet/outlet is offset while the other is in the middle. Is it possible to cheat these into the same spots without doctoring the pipes? Thanks for any help with this!

If you want to change the mufflers without modding the pipes too much then get ones with inlet/outlets that match existing ones.I
I have the slp loudmouth cat back and they aren't real mufflers they are resonators, idle sounds hello then above 2000rpm the start to sceam.

Thanks, nickyb. They do start to sing at around 2500. I know they aren't glass packs, but they sometimes sound that way. Most of what I've found center in and out wouldn't seem to make enough of a difference for the trouble. But any suggestions would be more than welcome.
