New Paint

I was wondering if anyone had their cars repainted, and a rough estimate of how much it cost I plan on stripping the paint etc. myself. I dont want a showcar finish, but I dont want crap either... I just need some ideas on cost

Mine was $1700 for SAME color, "New car" quality. That included fixing some minor scratches and dings. They messed up on a few spots, but redid the "rough" Spots.

My guess for LOWEST price on a respectable paint job is mid teens. Sky is the limit from there.

it also depends on the color you get. black is alot cheaper than red which is a three color system.

I've yet to be quoted under $3000 for my car somehow.

Here, $3,000 is a good starting point. Like most things in life though, you get what you pay for. A cheap paint job will be...well....cheap. That is the reason mine hasn't been painted yet.
