Hey Guys & Gals,
I just got done making a photo album of my ride, Take a look and tell what you think of my Stang! Yahoo, dosent let me put big photos, so that kinda blows! Might be selling her to get a 68 Cougar, hate to see her go, Got a lot of money into her and I'm sure I wont get it all back!

Nice! Looks like a brand new one.

Someone asked in a recent thread about their export brace mounting to a bracket being welded to the shock tower. It looks like you have the same thing they descibed.

Hey Route666,

The export brace thing you're talking about, isn't that the norm? My 66 coupe has the same thing, I was thinking about getting a chrome one but I'm at a lost now since I thought they just went overtop the welded in one. Someone correct me please...

I dunno, I'm sure I've seen other examples of it, apart from the couple on this site, so it probably is normal. I have seen one that bolts to the top of the shock tower however, I'd say it's a redesign, a single piece, and requires less welding.

I think that the Export Brace varies by the plant they came from!

HEY!! You stole my color . Looks realy good.


They all came from the factory with taht style export brase. The onse that just bolt on came on the shelbys I believe. Maybe the GT cars too, or Hipo.
