New Power Distribution Block

Okay, the positive side of my starter solenoid is getting too full. I need to add on a distribution block, but all I can find really is the car audio ones made for monster size wire. Anyone know where I can get one that will work with 10-20 gauge wire? I suppose I could just buy one of the car audio ones and double/triple up wires on one terminal. Also I would not be opposed to making my own if someone had some specs for building one. Thanks.

Great thread! I have the same problem and was wondering if I could move some of the items from my fender solenoid to a stud on the terminal of the fuse block that came with the new alternator wire from my PA Performance alt wire upgrade kit.

You could use a power distribution stud. It'd be like a second starter solenoid stud.

What about the marine power distribution blocks you can get at places like academy sports? I've been thinkin about tryin one out.

I found one at a place called M.A.D. enterprises that will hold 10 wires. I don't have the link at the moment though. I also found a great article on trunk mounting a battery which I'm going to be using soon to do mine. I'll try and post links later.

The guys have you covered (and Pacecar, I think a marine stud would work just fine).

One more option is to grab one from a junkyard. A lot of the newer cars have 'em.
