Got my intake manifold swapped for the updated version from ford. My dad and I put it on in about 2 1/2 hours. Wasn't too bad. Anyways, before I even installed the manifold I've noticed my idle has been fairly low. I installed an autometer tach and it reads 600. The Probe's idle was 750, so just goign by that the idle seems low. It seems to have a slight misfire during the idle as well. Today it felt like it was almost going to die, and the RPM's dropped to about 400 and back to 700 back and forth. The spark plugs have been changed recently to NGK iridiums. Haven't been able to find any vacuum leaks or anything. The car also has a misfire when accelerating hard. I floor it in say first or second and the car will hesitate a little and then it accelerates normal. Then when the tach climbs to 3000, the car acts like its bogging really hard. (like a boost leak almost... if you're familiar with turbos). And then at about 4,250 it regains its normal power and pulls to 5,500 (where I shut off). I bought a new fuel filter (only 7.00 at walmart), put a can of heet gas tank antifreeze, incase there is moisture in the tank. And a can of fuel injector cleaner. I then filled the tank up immediately with Shell 87 octane. I'd really like to get this car squared away one of these days. I've had it 2 weeks and have already had more trouble with it than the Probe had in the 8 years we owned it.

Thankyou for your help! BTW I did a search and found some MAF /IAC cleaning procedures that I just might try

Thanks again

That would be? Theres no cap and rotor to replace like in a regular tune up. Its got new plugs and I cant afford new wires now for it. I will however be getting some new ones. What else is there to tune up? its got new plugs
Im gonna replace the fuel filter tomorrow probably
