I just ordered my rear end gears for my car i ordered some ford racing 4:10 gears i was just wondering what some people that have installed these have to say about them and how much they changed the attitude of the car.

Traction will be harder to find, and cruising RPMs will suffer quite a bit. Good tires will be a must.

Ive had good luck with mine. But i agree with NikwoaC traction is alot harder to find. But at the same time there alot of fun. Youll notice a big difference off the line though if you can find that sweet spot where you can lock up and go!

I wouldn't launch anything on slicks without torque box plates and subframes at least

well i dont have slicks yet and probably will not and have broke my t5 3 times already so i am not to worried about that and i have bbk control arms and subframe connectors and torque boxes were a major thought of mine but for now i will just run street tires and get no traction

Guess I am the lucky one. I have yet to break a t5 although my power levels are just above stock

I'm on T5 number one, but it did have a freshen up back in 2003 or so. I also drive it like a little old lady.
