Nah, not a DD. It was a DD for about 8 months after the seat install...then too many tickets forced it into hibernation in my barn. And yes, I had leathers. I dunno how quick they wear out, I just did it as a preventive measure and they still look brand new.

Looks good...and familiar!

Out of curiosity, what pedal covers do you have? Do you like them?

I have the Steeda covers. The clutch and brake pedals are very grippy - this is what I was looking for. The gas pedal is smooth. If you like to slide your foot off the clutch then these pedals aren't a good choice. Overall, I have been happy with them for ten years now. I like the big pedals because it makes heel-toe down shifting easier.

Thanks Car Nut. Now if only I can get my car into the 12's...but that's a whole different topic!

Edit: How do you like those legacy seats? They are more expensive than the CR1's right? What made you decide on them?

Thanks,
Gabe

Well considering you only paid a grand total of $200 for both seat's and both rails, any seat would be more expensive

Glad you like them, take good care of them, and see you at the track

Bold and Beautiful

Those seats are flashy, there's no doubt, however they will match perfectly with that car of yours, which is also flashy, but appealing.

good buy my friend
good buy indeed.

TurboSnake95 - Yeah brag on yourself for me. :Zip2: Now I can't flip them here for more $$ because everyone will know what I paid for them.

Caldwell - We-heh-ell, I do appreciate the props coming from Mr. pimp freaking white leather interior! Only the nicest looking interior on :SNSign:

I decided on the Legacy seats, because I got to sit in ALL of the Corbeau seats prior to the purchase. There is a dealer out here that has a showroom with every size and type of Corbeau seat, so that customers can sit in them and see what fits and which is comfortable. Absolutely amazing. Since I'm like 6'5" tall and about 240, I sat in the Legacy Wide version and it was perfect. I had a couple other seats in mind, but once I sat in them they were too small and/or too uncomfortable. The Legacy seats really hold me in and keep me still at all times, but have been great for 4-6 hour trips.
