I am not the biggest fan of the side view mirrors on my 1993 GT Convertible. I am repainting the car, and would like to put on some aftermarket, or later model mirrors. I would like to still have power mirrors. Has anyone done this? I have looked into the aftermarket, and have had no luck finding any mirrors for 87-93 stangs. Would any mirrors for later model stangs fit my car? Is there anyone out there with a 87-93 convertible with some good looking, power, side views? Thanks for the help.

I bought these for my 93 LX Hatchback. They are even nicer lines than the originals.

Well, if you didnt have a vert already, i've seen vert mirrors on a hatch/coupe and they look pretty good. Other than that, i'd imagine you could put just about any mirror on your car with a little creativity.

zadan - those do look nice. Unfortunately on convertibles the side views mount to the doors, and not the area in front of the door glass. Those will look great on your car though.

I do think with a little creativity I could get some other mirrors to work. The rub is that I would like to retain the power mirrors. So I will have to find some way to adapter my 3 wire harness to a different mirror. Are the newer mustang mirrors the same 3 wire hookup? The only problem is that is looks like all of the newer mustangs have the side views up in front of the glass. I they are the same hookup electrically though, I guess I could just cut them down to size. Do you know if other car manufacturerers have a similar 3 wire hook up? I have seen some other cars with nice mirrors that are mounted on the door as mine is. Thanks for the help people!
