New spring install, different heights?

i just installed some eibach pro springs on the rear of my hatch.

got it back together, and drove around the block twice, came back each time and checked to make sure everything was ok underneath the car. then after i was done driving i measured from my fender to the same ring on my tire and theres a difference of about 3/16" on one side then the other in the rear.

is that normal for new springs or is that not normal? i know the eibachs are supposed to sink a little more overtime, but want to make sure its ok if they start slightly different. thanks

3/16" is well within the range of possibilities from side to side. Most cars in stock form aren't that close. Nothing to worry about in my opinion. By the way, did you measure before you swapped them?

Yeah, I found out the same when I did my sportlines. You cant see the difference at stock height, but can when you lower it.

yeah i measured before i lowered. i just put eibachs on the rear to try evening it out. front has 1/2" gap, back had 2" with fms lowering springs.

now with the eibachs its about 1" in the rear gap and will be sagging a little more, so it should come out perfect. ill get some before and after pics, once my side exhaust is on too

did you reuse the factory isolators? if so one may be in worse shape allowing for a noticable difference in height

Did you happen to install both springs facing the same direction? That will make a height difference.

i installed the springs the same way on the left and the right as the eibach directions stated to. they are sitting a little more equal already since they have been driven on a little.

my cousin's eibachs did the same thing i found out so i guess it is normal.
