new tb cant get to idle right

ok put on new bbk 65mm tb today.now car wont idle right.try'd to do what bbk said to do to adjust.they say to disconnect the idle speed control and when i do the car die's.WTF!!! any one with any info please help

BBK throttle bodies are usually decent ones. I'm a little surprised to see somebody with a problem. Regardless, did you try adjusting the throttle position sensor? Or did you forget to tighten down some of the inlet hose clamps as that would cause an idle concern as well.

my expierence

im not a expert Had a similar problem...rough idle goes up and down....but my problem was the throttle positon sensor..thought u might wanna know that..check that...did u disconect the battery for 5 mins ?the computer might have to relearn with the new higer air flow coming threw...try the battery first

it is a maf car had a 75mm tb went to 65mm. now can anyone tell me why car die's when i disconnect the idle speed control???

You need to set the mechanical base idle at 600 RPM. See the sticky "Help me create the Surging Idle Checklist" at the top of the forum for help with your idle problems. The first post in the sticky has almost all the details you need.
