New times, Complete street trim.

Sorry about taht.. Was under my girlfriends name..

Drove to the track tonight (usually trailor it). The only thing I did to prep my car was let the air out of my tires a ways. Besides that it was complete street trim including my sub box with 3 subs, amp, spare tire, jack, etc. I imagine it was somewhere in the lines of 3500 lbs with me in it.

Anyways I couldn't hook up worth a damn but that was no surprise, even after i put new upper and lower control arms and adjustable shocks and struts on. Also i ran out of gear (3.73's).. Was against my rev limiter for a sec or two at the end of the track. Had 10 psi in my NITTO 555R's (315/35/17's), which is sorta discipointing.

Im just glad to finally say i run 11's in full street trim (even though it was only 8 thousands of a second into the 11's). I look to go back and lose probably 200+ lbs and use my slicks to see what she will do..

This is my best and last slip of the night and i know if i could cut down my 60' to say a 1.7 it would be good for probably 3-5 tenths.

R/T -.244 ooups
60' 1.938
330 5.262
1/8 7.896
MPH 93.18
1000 10.136
1/4 11.992
MPH 121.52

The other three runs i was right at 12.2-12.04 and my mph was always above 120.

What do you guys think? I am thinking having my car lowered 1.5 inches is coming back to bite me in the butt. Especially after watching a stock suspension 03 cobra pull 1.7's all night long on smaller tires. DAMN them and their IRS!!! lol

Hell Yah man I knew you would do it anyday...feels good to don't it:)
The only question I had, is how you are running out of gear (3.73) at 121mph, on a 17" wheel? Is your redline ser pretty low? I know in my car with 3.73's and a 15" rim, I've gone 126, pushing it to 6200rpm.

I still think you have alot left, and with damn near 500 on tap...I think you could get in the low low 11's with some better 60's, and touch 10's if you can get everything to go right..weather, hook, driving. Our cars are like th same man, thats why I always follow your stuff, and I'm the same as you..3520lb race weight..lol

Good Job man, I'd get some good springs or coilovers, some real sticky tires, and go cut some 1.6's or better and get that thing into the deep deep 11's!
How much boost?

Chris

AWESOME times! I too am surprised you are hitting the limiter. What height are your drag tires? At least with them they are probably a minimum of 26" high and will grow some on the top end to get you a little more "gear" and avoid the limiter. I can't wait to see the results with those bad boys on there!!!

Chris, how tall of a tire are you running? My rev lim is set at 6200 i believe. If had a taller tire my mph would go up im sure. Yeah I try to follow what your doing too but i get sorta discipointed seeing how much better your doing then me. I had to fight for 11's... you had to hit the breaks and were still in the 11's.

I can't wait to put the slicks on and see what happens with a 1.6 or so like i was doing last year. I think there is 2 mph or so there just in those HEAVY ASS 03 wheels i have on it.

Far as boost goes i don't have a guage except for my pms unit. And we data logged it on the dyno and it went from 9-12 deppending on the run. (stupid belt slippage) But after feeling the belt at the track i would say probably 8-10lbs. (needed tightened a little)

Dang stock t-5 and diff. (132 k miles) are taking a beating, but showing no signs of going yet.. :nice:

I'm running a 26x10 ET Drag on 15" Draglites at the track.
121mph is def not the limit with your tires, I'd say upward to 130....what is your tach setup? If stock read my post on your video post.
500-600rpms off makes a huge diff...stock tachs are junk!
