Oh man those times are sweet. Makes me realize that I need to learn how to drive better. I am hoping for 13's on street tires right now. Still have some time to learn though. Keep up the good work, and let us know how the carb install goes.

I am. It was in the car, I know it. It's wasnt even tuned. I was guessing with fuel pressure and timing. It had an 11.99 in it. Oh well.

With the carb it will for sure get there and then some I think.

12.13 @ 113....spun
12.10 @ 112.89....Let out to much air of tires
12.05 @ 113.98...good pass/ tried more timing
12.02 @ 113.05...better pass

Car started to miss and the wire harness caught fire.

In the process of ripping the computer out and sticking a NASTY carb on it.

Expect 11.50s. Maybe .60s but thats OK.

Later guys and good luck this summer to all the DRAG RACERS on here.

I am not sure about the DART block. Nice times. Sorry about your motor.

Ask THUMPER460 about the block. He may know. He posts on here.

The pinion gear had alot of miles on it,the guy who works on my car has been drag racing for 39 years,he know's his sh@t!! He said he would install them, but there gonna wine real bad!! The kid could have told me that he bought them used.He said he had them put in his stang and they wined real bad!! If I knew they werent new,I would not have bought them. Then I tried emailing him,but he avoided me like the plague. The little punk should have the balls to answer my e-mails! Owell, like I said it wasnt alot of money. I bought new 410's,and am having them installed Friday.(finally) And I got a pair of Hoosier Quick time pro's that I had mounted on a set of 10 holers. That will put me in the 13"s

That's RIDICULOUS; how much time did you spend tweaking the carb before going to the track?

Friday night and Saturday morning-afternoon. Why do you think that's RIDICULOUS. A well tuned CARB will out perform a mild EFI setup any day. I just did it. The carb tuning was easy with the help of a very good mustang tuner.
