I am not sure about the DART block. Nice times. Sorry about your motor.

Ask THUMPER460 about the block. He may know. He posts on here.

Were you wanting to know if the DART 351 block had a one piece or were you wanting to use a 302 one piece?

I am a little confused.

Finished CARB swap Friday night. Ran car Saturday for the first time.

308 CID, Edelbrock performer RPM, Holley 750, MSD distributor, lunati cam, 1.72 rr, Mac LT's, Custom x-pipe, dumped race bullets, et streets, 3.73s, 5 speed, GT-40 irons (cobra), suspension work.
3050 pounds

11.64@115.01
11.60@114.70

Tried different jets and it ran 11.8s.

Happy with it. I think it is tuned well and the combo is maxed out. DAILY DRIVER.

Thats awesome I hope to have the same luck with my carbed setup. BTW, did you do anything to the rest of the system?? Did you change lines or keep the small stock ones, did you buy a insert for the tank or keep the stock pump and crank the pressure down at the regulator?
Mike.

Fully ported GT-40s.
Lightweight valvetrain.
Ported Edelbrock RPM.
Centerforce dual friction clutch.
Lunati Cam.
Harder launch.

The heads made the most difference. Cam helped also.

I used the stock lines under the car. 155 pump. Regulator cranked down. Braided lines 7 feet back to the stockers.

The carb tuning was easy with the help of a very good mustang tuner.

That makes a bit more sense; it sounded like you just bolted it and headed for the track. That's still a REALLY nice increase over the EFI stuff.

I would be stupid to not tune before. We got it running really well Saturday and headed to the track. Yes it was a huge difference over EFI, it hauls alot harder in the first 300 feet and keeps on truckin. The mph was a little better. I guess my EFI tune was off a little.

By the way, the numbers listed above are his cell phone, which he doesn't answer or return voice mails...and the Pirate's baseball office, which they say he's been released.
