New to forum- 89 Coupe LX, Been in the area... Seattle, WA

Hey everyone my name is Chris, and I just picked up a 89 Coupe LX 2.3 auto for $700 and decided that I should sign up for a mustang forum. I've been a mustang guy for a while now, originally from Panama city, FL now stationed here in Seattle, WA with the U.S. Coast Guard. Wanted to get back in the scene of mustangs, I have owned 4 of them. :D Now I'm in the process of building this one. My plans are a 347 Stroker 302 w/ Nitrous and a C4 w/ 5000 stall and 8.8 with 4.10's as a good all around street/track car. As of now this is the way I bought her. Let me know what you think. Thanks OMG who would think about putting those ugly a$$ hubcaps and shifter knob on this :bang:

Welcome! So you left the sun for the rain. Word of advice, go buy rain gear now. But your in the U.S. Coast Guard so you probably already have some.

Got to love those hub caps. A few of us on here have Notchbacks. The rest wish they did. Thats why they call them dreams. Keep the pictures coming on the progress as most of us will too. This is my little turbo project. Or Nightmare.

Welcome NastyCoupe! Man, with a setup like that, why not go with a 2.3 turbo with a T-5 behind it. Do the 5 lug conversion and go disk all the way around. But, with the said setup above, you would be a force to be reckoned with.

Hey thanks guys for all the info, When I talk about the car being a street car what I mean by that is, a car that if someone wants to run it out on the street "streetable / streetlegal" but mainly a track car. POSSIBLE 3.73 gears and a 4500 Stall. Not too sure yet. We shall see. I would love to come out and see the "meet" but I will be at work. =/ Sorry Maybe next time. Thanks again for the comments guys, Looking forward to meeting some of you.

Chris
