can u guys please help i have a stock 94 gt and would like to know what kinda wires and pugs to put in my car alot of people have told me to stick with the motorcraft they say this is what ford recomends i know have have auto lite plugs and accell wires please tell me what would be the best bet and the correct gap

Welcome to Stangnet.
The autolites are decent plugs. I would just replace them with the same ones. If the accell wires are heavy duty wires I doubt they need replacing unless they are really old.

autolite for sure, price and simplistic quality. don't fall for that +4 ultra plat bs...:rlaugh:

as for wires,im probably going to get :ban: for saying this, but inspect them to make sure they are truly in need of replacing....plugs are cheap and wires are not. but if you are going to replace wires i like the ford racing ones from late model restoration

stay away from Taylors, mine pop off the plugs :fuss:
Ive had good luck with the MSD superconductors and a friend really liked the set of firewires he had, both kinda pricey. Lots of guys like the FRPP wires, those will most likely be my next set.

Welcome to the site, but this part of the forum you posted your thread in is specifically for tuning issues, involving the EEC for our cars. A mod will move this one I'm sure, but for future reference all tech related threads should go in the 94-95 tech section. :nice: You'll find an abundance of help on this site, enjoy it.

As adam said, always regap them. No matter what someone tells you that they are gapped at, recheck and regap. I remember getting a new set of plugs for my bronco having the guy told me they were the right gap. Put them in and it didn't fire right. Always double check the manufactures work or the dealers work. A simple mistake can turn into an expensive problem real quick.
