New to the 5.0 world

Hey. Im new to the 5.0 since all ive owned is camaro's but i thought id try something new. Im looking to make this stang a solid 12 second car until i can get more money. All i have now is 5000 dollars. What would i be best to spend that on to get to my goal?

Get a turbo kit

dude i think you can get that car in the twelves for less than 5 grand without a promblem, just my opinion though

All that should be able to be had for less than 5,000


add another two to three thou.. to that in a year or so for a cartech or inconn turbo kit, and there you go with 11's Right?

if you go with the HCI route dont forget to leave 500 for a good dyno tune.....You pretty much have 3 options...Heads/Cam/Intake, Supercharger, or used or homade turbo kit...easiest one to install is the supercharger, but the most powerful option is the turbo....HCI is a good idea if you have 100k plus on the engine already and that way u get a new topend and less stress on the bottom end.....

With all that stuff and a turbo kit, he should be well into the 10's. there are people with junkyard setups with a STOCK longblock in the 11's. oh yeah and fwiw, Incon is no long in business, if I were going to purchase a kit I would get a PTK or Cartech
