New to the neighbor hood

Hey ,, I just got my self an 85 GT , it is sweet , needs a bit of work but nothing I am not used to ,, I have an 84 GT which I got for parts ,, I am wondering if I should go to another newer front end ,, get rid of the 4 eye look and go to a larger plastic light style ,, also what are some of the begining steps I can take to get a little more snap out of it with out spending lots ,, I will put lots into it , just not right now ,, it is a 5.0 with a Holley 4 bbl on it ,, so what is everyones opinion ,, ?? I am lookin for guidence ,,

If you don't like the four-eye, my suggestion would be to sell to someone that does and purchase an Aero-nose for yourself.

If you change to a aero nose you will be smited by me and almost every other stang owner. 4 eyes belong on 4 eyes, aero on aero simple as that, DO NOT DEFACE TEH 4 EYE!!! Seriously.... otherwise welcome to the boards and simple mods can include gears, a short shifter, and exhaust to get you started...

Converting a 4 eye to an aero nose is a sin. Why buy the car if you dont like it?

not that I dont like it , I think there sharp lookin , I was thinking newer halogen lights would be brighter , and a little more modern ,,

4 eyes are getting rarer and to change one to an ever so plentiful aero nose should be against the law, one is not necesarilly better, its just fact...

plus with the newer ones, the headlight lenses fade, older glass style ones don't turn yellow. so in time the aero would get less bright...

point taken ,, I will keep it 4 eye , and never change it ,, LOL ,,, what more can I do beside gears , shifter , I have dual exhaust ,I need headers though ,,
