Hey guys, i just sold my 90 lx and jumped head first into the s197 scene by buying a 2010 GT premium leftover for a really good price. I love this car more than any other mustang i have ever owned. Great looks, awesome interior, SYNC, rides like nice and smooth and handles like a slot car and is surprisingly fast. My big problem is that I am completely ignorant to these cars. all i know is that the 2010 is basically a 08 bullitt. thats what i was told anyway. can someone enlighten me on this car? i know the 2010s kinda fell by the wayside due to the 2011 5.0 fanfare but i still think this is an amazing car. thanks guys.

you've got plenty of aftermarket options. if you want more power just throw a roushcharger on there and call it a day

2010's are nice and unfortunately they do get overshadowed by the '11. There are plenty of aftermarket go fast goodies!!!

Performance: You got a 05-09 with a better computer tune (bullitt). Suspension should have changed a bit and you got a really nice interior I bet. Most entry level F/I kits would put you at 400whp easily, and there are plenty of options for you out there as far as bolt ons! My 07 (4.6L) is a blast to drive. These mustangs have come a long way since your fox and the refinement is top notch in the 2010+!

Enjoy the ride!

you could use the money you saved over a 5.0 and throw a supercharger on and make 460-540hp. well you can put it towards one anyway.. depending on how much you saved...

I'm just blown away with how nice this car is. My fox was heavily modded, it dynoed over 277 to the wheels and it felt like it would fall apart every time the throttle was floored. But this car, makes the same power stock and it doesnt even feel like the car is moving that fast. love the sound of the car too, it sounds more like a high end sports car than an american pony car. Ford has come a long way and as a ford guy who kind of wavered a bit in the late 90s im very happy with fords products lately. Way to go Ford.
