well i just took off my bow tie 01 z-28 and found a blue oval 97 MUSTANG GT but i dont know which way to go for i am new to ford the car is stock far as i know except for weld in flowmasters no cats it sounds good but i heard a mustang with magnaflow magnapac sounds badass. anyway looking for direction on mods dont have the money for the pi swap just yet but any input will be welcome by the way i've already smoked 2 lt1's auto:nice: and 2 tpi camaro:nice:

no 4.10s arent too much but it really depends on what direction you want to go with the car. if you plan on staying N/A then go with the 4.10s. if you plan on any kind of FI go with either 3.73s or 4.10s depending on what kind of FI you go with. 3.73s for a twin screw and 4.10s for a centri.

It wont hurt anything except it may bring the gas mileage down a few MPG.

If you are going for the headswap later on 3.73's or 3.90's will do just fine. You cant go wrong with either 3 of those gears, but if you do alot of highway id suggest sticking with 3.90's or 3.73's if you really drive over 75-80mph alot.

I have 4.10's and tach 3k RPM at 80mph... we have the same transmission as well, so it should be the same for your car.
