I just got a DELL!

Actually just the monitor....1901FP...19" Sucker!
I KNOW..this has nothing to do with cars let alone tech, but I just had to post it.

I would like to do a post for fun to have everyone show a pic of the area they use Stangnet from, but Im not quite done with my office yet.

Please dont stone me for the :OT: post.

thats a nice screen, i like the dell flat screen. i have knock off, Env!sion, and yes that is how their name is. Mines a 17 and makes for a good screen to watch movies in bed with.

Yea, I have one of their 17" CRT flat screens. I got it from Staples about 1.5 years ago for $77. It even has a 3 year warranty. Not a bad deal I think. Recently I read that Staples has offered an Env!sion 19" CRT flat screen for $120. The flat screens are 10 times better than the old regular monitors, once you get use to them.

My CRT = piece of crap! I want a 24" Flat CRT, but I'd rather put the money toward the car.

Sweet screen. I've had a Dell 19" standard monitor for 3 years now. I'm so spoiled by it, I hate looking at a puny 17" monitor lol.

I went to Alienware.com just to price out my ultimate computer. I customized it with 2 36" flat panel monitors lol. Can you even IMAGINE what you would do with monitors that big?! I can see it now, using the computer from the couch across the room lol. They were like $4K each. It came out to just under $15K for the whole computer. Oh well, I can dream....

Those LCD screens are relatively cheap now. I paid like $600 for my 15" LCD screen about 3 years ago. i wish I had waited, i'd love to have that 19" screen. I had a 19" LCD Dell at my last job. WOW!! It was good for drawing in AutoCAD minus the crappy pixelation they have with graphics.

Im still trying to get use to it. It looks like its curved inward since Im used to looking at a monitor that is curved out...the flat one "tricks" your view!!
