I have replaced my tr3650 with another tr3650. With supposedly the stock gears. Now to my questions. I think for some reason the 5th gear is "shorter" keeps my RPMs up higher. I thought when i was cruzing at 80mph my rpms were 2100/2200. Now im at 2600rpms at 80mph. I do a lot of driving at 75+ (interstate) so that is why im using 80. All the other gears seem to be correct just 5th. It seems that 5th is just another gear as what i would think a 6spds 5th gear would be.
Am i crazy? Is that normal RPMs for that gear/speed?
Here are the gears that are in it. 3.37,2.00,1.31,1.0,0.67 R3.37

i think the gearing might be a lil high cause at 69mph i run 2000rpm so i dont think 6 mph is worth 600 rpm.

the 3650 had a different 5th ratio depending on what year the car was.

i believe they changed the 5th ratio in 2002 IIRC
