Engine is very newly rebuilt, but put on the boring old blue stock covers for time being. Just got some 'black wrinkled' 351 Powered by Ford covers to put on -- anything special I need to know? I should be able to reuse the gaskets as they're new, don't over tighten, grease anything special? I think this is just a bolt on affair, but want to make sure it isnt! Thanks

I just put in new black wrinkle '289 PBF' valve covers in my 65. I used new gaskets and applied a bit of gasket sealer in spots to keep everything in place. Other than that, no problems, and no leaks.

ditto. you can glue the gaskets to the valve cover with sealer to make instalation simpler.

Guess I will pick up some new gaskets and sealer on the way home from work then, although the felpro ones on there now only have like...30 miles on them. Thanks for advice guys.
