These were Duece's wheels. He bought the 17x9/17x10.5 package, or I should say traded for. LOL. Hated the 9's because of the deep lug holes. So had a set of stock bullits and the 10.5's polished. The stock fronts match a lot better than the aftermarket 9's.

Finally got the rear seats installed on Sunday:

Damn...i'm not a big fan of polished wheels (i just hate keeping them clean) but that's a good example of why i like to keep my wheels 17'' or smaller...i love how they're big enough to fill the wheel wells to the max but you don't have the rubber band tire syndrone.

That looks down right sexy! Nice work, only gripe would be more tire out back, but it sure does look good!

Thanks everyone for all the nice comments!! The springs are Eibach Sportlines. Love 'em! It sits perfect and rides awesome!!

25th, I agree on the back tire. They aren't actually mine, just temp tires to roll on for a bit.

Awesome, what size do you plan to run when you get tires for it? Or did I miss this somewhere in the post?

Nah, you didn't miss it, I didn't post anything about it. Planning to run either 275 or 285/40/17's.

Thanks NikwoaC!!

I have 285/35/18s on a 10" rim. Mine sit slightly less than square. It depends on the tire manufacturer but a 295 might fit a 10.5 better. Not sure on room in the wheel well, but definately worth some research. A 275 I can say would be narrow.

Duece had sold the wheels to someone, and got them back. They guy had put those tires on the back as that is what he had laying around. Definitely needs a bigger tire IMO. Thanks for your advice on the tires. We will check into if for sure.

I am wanting to keep my motor basically stock, with just minor bolt ons, like maybe GT40 heads, intake, etc. I was curious what your set up is if you're willing to share?

Mine?

Its a stock bottom end (honed and rering due to fuel wash messing the cylinders up), stock cam, Cobra intake, 65mm TB, 75mm ProM, CAI, pulleys, E7s with GT40 (1.84/1.54) valves and a good valve job, 1.7 rockers, Long tubes, X pipe, mufflers, 3.73s, clutch and a shifter. It could be duplicated for a couple thousand dollars, gets real good gas mileage, idles stock, and has been nothing but reliable!

A GT40 combo would be better though, in my opinion!

Cool! Thanks! That is something I'm looking for with mine. It's my daily driver, so running 13.6's to 13.7's with a good reliable combo would be fine.

I was researching tire sizes and width's on Summit. The 275/40 has a section width of 11 inches and tread width of 10.20. Course that is the Mickey Thompson Street Radial and I'll just be running a regular street tire, so I'm sure they will be a little smaller. I think that will work for what I'm wanting. I don't want to get too wide back there and have rubbing issues. Of course have already rolled the fenders. But will definitely do more research before I buy. I'm in no hurry, as winter is coming and will be running some snow wheels/tires soon.

Duece never can have enough stuff layin' around! We actually picked up an Explorer upper and lower, would like to do the heads as well.

Thanks! I really liked them on the silver LX, but I have to say they don't compare to how it looks on the FR 500's. Out of all the mods so far, I think I am the happiest over the seats!

I do have LOTS of junk layin around, some of it's a lil too much for what we want to do with this car. I'm VERY tempted to get my buddy to help me build a lil turbo kit with a lil T-60 turbo though. The only thing I'm afraid of us it's hard to just stop there!!
