new with a stang

Hey whats up everyone
I just bought a 1987 convertible stang that was a 4cly but it has a 5.0 swap in it right now. it has header back exhaust, a slight port to it and the 5 lug conversion. I was just wondering, I went to change the spark plugs but only the Cobra plugs fit. The guy said it was a stock 302 from just a basic 5.0. Would that mean i have a cobra head on a stock bottom end? I really dont know much about mustangs since i have been an owner of a honda ( and still am) thanks guys

Are the heads on your 5L aluminum or iron? If they are aluminum, they are definately not stock, but if they are iron, you possibly have the gt-40 or gt-40p heads, which apparently use a longer reach plug.
