you mean the hazy look in the paint? That's just cuz it was really cold out so there was like frost on the car.

Car ain't so great in person. Lot of things wrong with it, and the paint job is terrible. They didn't even sand the factory coat at all.. it's chiping off the door, bubbling off the bumper, dirt specs everywhere, pitting on the roof. Power windows and locks don't work cuz they cut the wires for the switches, no locks on any of the doors or the hatch. that's all I can think of for right now.

It's a good project car for me though, gives me some experiance. I'm only 16, I think every 16 yr old should have a car like this lol.

No every 16 year old should be driving a Pinto. It's definately a great first car though.

The "trackheat cam" isn't neccesarily the Stage 2 cam. If you go to Summit and say you want the TFS TrackHeat kit, you get the Stage 1.

The Stage 2 cam on the street is a lil' funky. You will def. feel it if you're just cruising. It will feel like it's bucking a little bit, but it's the big ass cam lol.

It sounds awesome, I will get some of my videos from the dyno loaded up on here for you guys to listen to it idling and working.

well I mean I think it's a stage 2, I'm not positive though, I was told it's the trackheat cam, and everybody tells me that's the stage 2. .

Track heat only means the intake. for example if you went with the track heat h/c/i the kit would still come with a stage 1 cam. I have the street heat h/c/i and it came with a stage 1 cam. Here is what the idle sounds like at about 750 rpm on mine. Does yours sound similar?

Yes, I agree. Every 16 yr old should have a good project, granted they aren't dumbasses with the car. Anyway, nice car! And I'm 17 as well so I know how it is to be young.

man I don't even know, it's been a while since I drove it cuz I lost my license and I tore it apart for a wire tuck. As I remember it's somewhat like that, but I keep thinkin it's lopier. How much rougher is the stage 2? Maybe I just don't remember it well enough. I dunno I think today I might just say screw the wire tuck cuz I don't have a welder for all th eholes, just put it back together and worry about the more important stuff like clutch and what not. I still can't drive again till aug. 30th, but at least I can fire it up again, lol.

Here's mine with the Stage 2, it's not the best audo cause it's off my cellphone. Also, it's right after I had all the issues with the computers and wires etc... so it's no tuned in the video yet. I am trying to get one off the dyno day.

Yeah, tell me about it. My first car was an 82 dodge charger 2.2....which would've been a decent little car if it ever started. I'm the only person I know who never got to drive their first car. I can't stand seeing so many nice cars get totalled by new drivers. I don't care how mature you are or how good you think you are at driving - You're not.

There ain't really much to driving, just don't be stupid. Although I can't say I've done the smartest things when it was raining out:Zip2:
